Over mountainous terrain but inside the village of Caimari at the same time, this superb house with private pool and capacity for 5 guests welcomes you.
The views from the property are superb. You can admire the centre of the village from the pool as well as the green fields, the mountains and even the sea. Imagine your days of rest swimming alone or basking in the sun on one of the 5 sun loungers, surrounded by the protected Tramuntana mountain range. The chlorine pool sizes 4 x 4 metres and has a water depth of 1.5 metres. It is placed at the right centre of the wonderful terrace with several levels, something that makes it quite special. In front of it, there is a fantastic attached terrace furnished with a table and chairs to enjoy your dinner alfresco and under the starry sky, with the only company of the lights of the village, an unforgettable experience!
The house is distributed over two tastefully decorated floors. The entrance hall leads to the dining room and the kitchen. The first one, has a Mallorcan style palpable in its natural stone walls and rustic furniture, which includes a large table with designer chairs to sit and eat together. After three steps and a large archway, we access the kitchen, equipped with rustic furniture, induction, oven, microwave and everything you will need to cook like at home. On this floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe, as well as a separate bathroom with shower. Going upstairs we reach a beautiful living room, where you can watch satellite TV on the sofas, listen to music on the CD player or read a book in the rocking chair, accompanied by the scenery and the air conditioning. Here we have two further bedrooms, one with a double bed, a/c, space for a cot and highchair, and en-suite bathroom with shower. The other has a bunk bed and wardrobe. Five radiators and a separate laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board complete the equipment.
Caimari is a small and charming village located in the middle of the Tramuntana, which abounds in nature and features all you may need for your stay. Inca, a small town, is just 5 km from Caimari, where you will find larger stores and a variety of entertainment, apart from its traditional market street, that takes place every Thursday in the morning. The area is ideal for lovers of nature, hiking, trekking, cycling etc; Nearby there are various walking routes. And, of course, Caimari is very well known due to its production of olive oil since it has a great olive mill where the oil is elaborated with the olives of the area. A 30 minutes' drive takes you to the north coast and to lovely beaches like Playa de Muro and Puerto de Alcúdia.
You will find a space to store your bicycles and some tools in the property.

Summary: I liked: A beautiful clean property in a delightful quiet village close to the mountains. Terraces perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation. Views over village outstanding. One of the best villas we have ever booked in 30 years of visiting Mallorca. I did not like: Nothing. Everything met or exceeded expectations. We would have no hesitation in rebooting this property.

Summary: This is a beautiful property, immaculately presented and in a stunning setting. We had a fabulous week here, thank you. To address some of the comments in other reviews, and add some details I'd have found useful before we went, here's some other notes I took: Despite other reviews to the contrary, you *can* park outside the house (the garage opposite is part of the property) although the village roads *are* very narrow and winding. Book a small hire-car if you can! 2 sets of towels are provided, for inside and pool use, and there is a drying rack outside the back door for swimming stuff. Initially we could only find 1 parasol at the house, but then found a second in the garage. We did need both as there isn't much shade in the garden. There are also beach umbrellas provided if you venture out to any beaches (we did this twice during the week). Inca has several large supermarkets, but the small supermarket in Caimari was fine for top-up shopping. We walked down every morning to buy fresh bread. The house TV has Movistar and we were able to find a few films in English to watch in the evenings, although navigating the system was a bit tricky! There is also a bookcase in the sitting room which contains a few English novels (plus lots of German ones!) in case you run out of poolside reading matter. There's a double bedroom on the ground floor, then another double upstairs, and a bedroom with bunk beds. All bedrooms have air conditioning, as does the sitting room (the kitchen-dining area does not, but we often ate up on the roof area - there were occasional wasps but it wasn't a big problem) We loved the barbecue provided and used it a few times during the week. Charcoal and lighters were at the property, and we also bought more. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of pans and sharp knives.

Summary: Die Ruhe ist unbeschreiblich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Der Terassengarten mit dem Pool einfach nur Luxus. Die Abende auf der Dachterasse bei untergehender Sonne sehr entspannend. Der Ort hat sehr wenige Touristen nur zwei sehr, sehr kleine Hotels. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeit reicht für den täglichen Bedarf, jedoch ist in Inca (5 km Entfernung) ein großer Lidl, ein großes ALDI und weitere Supermärkte. Für Caimari würden wir allerdings immer nur ein sehr kleines Auto mieten, da die Straßen für einen Mitteleuropäer sehr eng sind. In der Regel konnten wir direkt vor der Tür parken, insofern ist die eigene Garage nicht nötig. Für Gehbehinderte ist das Haus allerdings aufgrund der vielen Treppen (sehr hohe Stufen) nicht geeignet.

Summary: Amazing house with private pool in a very lovely authentic mallorcan village. Quiet with spectacular views including the sea in the distance. There are a couple of bars, restaurants, shops and a pharmacy in the village all of which are very friendly. The house has a lot of steps, some steep, so may be tricky if you have trouble with steps. You need to park nearby on the street or near the village square there is a free car park a few minute walk from the house. Beach is approx 25 min drive. Otherwise can't fault it. Perfect.

Summary: This is a beautifully appointed villa situated in the middle of a small Mallorcan village. It has been decorated and furnished to give it a modern yet homely feel. The sitting room is comfortable with enough seating for six. Smart TV allows access to Netflix/Spotify etc. The beds were super comfy with clean white cotton sheets. All rooms were air conditioned. The kitchen was well equipped and appeared to have been fitted recently. Outdoor areas were great. Pool was used every day and was clean and warm. Caimari is ideally situated for trips to Pollenca, Alcudia, Soller, Palma and also for less well known locations such as the most beautiful quiet beach at Son Real, easily accessible by bike which are available to rent for the day on site for 5 euros. It is worth mentioning that the owner Jaume was really responsive when there were issues with the a/c and pool pump. All in all an absolutely brilliant place to stay. Heads up info relating to this property; I wouldn’t recommend this property for the elderly and physically disabled as there are a number of steep steps within the property and in the outside areas. Do not hire a big car, the streets around Caimari and gaining access to the villa are very very narrow Take plenty of mosquito repellent, and anti histamine tablets as you are likely to get bitten.

Summary: Stunning view of Mallorca from the garden / roof top! Our stay was absolutely lovely and very peaceful. Tips: the streets of Caimari are very narrow, make sure you don't hire a too big car!
